The PREVENT-AMR Symposium, taking place on June 2, 2026 at BC Children's Hospital Research Institute, will bring together researchers across BC, alongside clinicians and trainees, to share the latest developments and foster collaboration in antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and One Health initiatives.

The symposium will feature:

Call for Abstracts

We are pleased to welcome submissions from trainees who would like to present their work at the PREVENT-AMR Symposium.

Trainees are invited to submit abstracts on all topics relevant to antimicrobial resistance research, from laboratory, clinical, applied, population or social science disciplines across any of the One Health domains (human, animal, or environmental health). Selected trainees will deliver an oral presentation (5-minute presentation plus 2-minute Q&A period).  Top trainee presentations will be recognized with an award.

The deadline to submit abstracts is 11:59pm PT on Wednesday, May 20th.
