Stop the Superbugs!, taking place on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Science World (Our World Gallery), is a family-friendly event exploring antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and how a One Health approach connects the health of people, animals, and the environment.
Come explore, play, and learn through hands-on activities, games, and a live puppet show. Collect stamps on your very own "Stop the Superbugs" passport along the way!
The event will feature:
- A live puppet show following the story of "Bob the Bug"
- A hand-washing station that reveals the hidden germs on our hands
- Crafts and activities showing how germs spread between people, animals, and the environment
- An antibiotic bean bag toss game
- An Ask the Expert booth, where our scientists will answer your AMR questions
Perfect for children and families of all ages. No registration/ticket required beyond regular Science World admission, and you're welcome to drop in anytime between 10:00am and 3:00pm.
