Mohsen Sadatsafavi
Associate Professor, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, UBC
Mohsen is an associate professor at the UBC Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and holds affiliations with the Centre for Heart Lung Innovation, and Legacy for Airway Health, UBC. He is the principal investigator of the Respiratory Evaluation Sciences Program (RESP). His main areas of interest are predictive analytics (clinical prediction modeling) and epidemiological modeling. His applied area of interest is chronic respiratory diseases, namely asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). In the Sadatsafavi lab, his team uses a variety of quantitative techniques to project the outcomes of medical decisions, both at the bedside (clinical decisions) and at the population level (policy decisions).
